Water Desalination

AquaTreat offers complete treatment plants using membrane systems providing consulting, design, engineering, market research, laboratory testing, pilot plant testing, and training for desalination plants. AquaTreat's Membrane Based plants use quality components for systems reliability, precision engineering for performance and are simple to operate and maintain. AquaTreat's systems are designed for reliable and trouble free operation.

AquaTreat's desalination plants are used for removal of dissolved solids ranging from 1000 ppm to more than 50,000 ppm with capacities ranging from 100 gallons to millions of gallons per day, treating municipal, well, surface and sea water. Such systems can be pre-packaged or assembled on site.

Potable Water Treatment

AquaTreat has a wide range of water supply services meeting commercial, industrial, municipal and agricultural needs.

These services include studies for determination of the quantity and quality of available sources, current and future supply requirements.

AquaTreat treatment plants are designed to provide high quality water to ensure maximum safety for consumer.

AquaTreat have supplied systems and services to customers in ultra-pure, potable, dialysis, pharmaceutical, water recycle, and numerous other applications.

AquaTreat's philosophy consists of developing and improving in house our own processes and technologies. Consequently our own processes are available for the most important treatment methods which can be optimally adapted to the following applications:

Municipal Wastewater Treatment

The increasing complexity of the pollution contained in urban sewage together with the increased severity of legislation aimed at conserving the environment has given rise to the development and application of advanced treatment.

AquaTreat has a wide range of wastewater services meeting industrial and municipal needs. These services include studies for determination, treatment, pollution control, sludge and water quality management.

AquaTreat offers rehabilitation of existing collection facilities as well as design and building of new systems including pumping and lifting stations, pressure pipes, new laterals, mains, and interceptor sewers, which meet current and future needs. Alongside conventional and oil processes, AquaTreat has developed considerable expertise in compact plants. Some of these require as little as one tenth of the land area taken by standard plants and therefore can be integrated with the existing facilities. These technologies are particularly suitable for plants fully enclosed in buildings or for underground treatment facilities.

AquaTreat activities range from skid mounted wastewater treatment plants to custom built treatment plants with a capacity of up to 1 Million PE and are designed to meet effluent requirements under current and projected future conditions.

In the treatment of effluent a wide range of processes are used. Those which we are experienced in include:

Sludge Treatment

Intensive sludge digestion technology for the production of usable material from sewage sludge. This consists of stabilizing the sludge in the digestion tanks anaerobically and converting the organic mass into biogas, gas and water.

Sludge digestion provides a large number of technical benefits to include volume reduction and improved dewatering of the sludge, as well as the reduction of the activated sludge basin volume.

AQUATREAT offers plants to cover all kinds of sludge handling to include:

Waste Treatment and Biogas Plants

Mechanical-biological waste treatment allows the extensive recycling of valuable substances from municipal solid waste. Just like biowaste treatment, intensified fermentation is the most important process ensuring the stabilization of the waste fraction with high organic load and the production of biogas.

AquaTreat's activities also cover remediation of contaminated sites and landfill engineering. AquaTreat offers innovative and economic solutions for demolition, soil replacement and containment for industrial sites, military sites and landfills.

AquaTreat is capable of not only rehabilitating landfills but also of operation of landfills as well as post-operative monitoring, utilization and incineration of landfill gas. AquaTreat can provide tailor made plants for the utilization and thermal oxidation of digester and biogas.
